 LSPHCB, SCI COLLABORATE TO STRENGTHEN CHILD IMMUNISATION The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board (LSPHCB) hosted a high-level delegation from Save the Children International (SCI), led by Country Director, Mr. Duncan Harvey, during an official courtesy visit to the board on Thursday, 17th September 2026. The visit comes as part of Save the Children’s global leadership tour in Nigeria to evaluate the impact of the BOOST Project (Better Opportunities for Optimal Services and Targeted Immunisation for Zero-Dose and Under-Immunised Children) and to align on strategic priorities for child health across the state.  NEW JAMB REGISTRAR PROF. AINA RESOLVES OVER 5,000 PENDING COMPLAINTS IN 5 DAYS 


Difficulties in creating profile codes, biometric failures, payment issues and technical challenges are among more than 5,000 pending complaints resolved by the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Segun Aina, within five days.

          

A statement by the Acting Director, Public Affairs and Protocol, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin, states that the development follows the Registrar’s decision to strengthen the Board’s Service Compact with All Nigerians, SERVICOM Unit, to ensure prompt resolution of outstanding complaints.


He says the Registrar relocates his seat to the SERVICOM Unit to gain first-hand knowledge of the services being sought by candidates and other clients, and to facilitate the resolution of pending cases.


The statement notes that the Registrar’s move demonstrates his commitment to leveraging strategic communication to reposition the Board and deliver services commensurate with the fees paid by candidates.


The complaints cover difficulties in creating profile codes by candidates who previously registered with telephone numbers to which they no longer have access, cases of biometric failures, payment-related issues, inappropriate examination venues, e-PINs, technical challenges and difficulties with uploading documents.
