 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  ‎NOCEN Approves Key Academic, Administrative Appointments for 2026/2027 Session

‎The Management of Nwafor Orizu College of Education (NOCEN), Nsugbe, has approved appointments into key academic and administrative positions for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

‎The appointments, approved on July 31, by the Provost, Prof. Victor I. O. Ndirika, will take effect from August 5, 2026, with the aim of strengthening institutional governance and enhancing academic excellence. The approvals followed the expiration of the tenures of the affected office holders, thereby ensuring continuity in effective administration and the smooth operation of the College.

‎The appointments cut across Quality Assurance, Part-Time Programme, Research and Publications, Centre for Continuing Education, Sports, Advancement and Linkages, and Entrepreneurial Studies.

‎Others include Examination Monitoring, Heads of Academic Departments, Centre Coordinators, Chairpersons, and members of statutory committees responsible for admissions, examinations, and other institutional functions.

‎Addressing the appointees, Prof. Ndirika described their appointments as a call to selfless service, urging them to demonstrate dedication, integrity, innovation, teamwork, transparency, accountability, and mutual respect.

‎The provost further emphasized the need for collective commitment to advancing the College’s vision and mission through efficient service delivery, quality teacher education, and sustained institutional development.

‎The management congratulated the appointees and expressed confidence in their capacity to promote stability, academic excellence, administrative efficiency, and the continued growth of NOCEN. 

‎The college also wished all newly appointed officers a successful, productive, and impactful tenure as they assume their respective responsibilities for the new academic session-suggest an headline for online publication
