Oprah Winfrey reunited with former colleagues from The Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago ahead of the program’s 40th anniversary, with longtime partner Stedman Graham also joining her for the celebration.
The 72-year-old media personality and Graham, 75, attended an event at Navy Pier over the weekend, where they were photographed with chef Art Smith at his restaurant, Reunion.
The couple posed alongside Smith and a platter of fried chicken in photos shared by Jill Van Lokeren, a former senior supervising producer on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Van Lokeren described the gathering as a reunion for members of the show's team and thanked Winfrey, Smith and those involved in organizing the event.
Winfrey also reflected on the upcoming milestone in a speech shared on Instagram.
“I cannot even believe that as of next month, September 8, it will be 40 years since we first launched The Oprah Winfrey Show,” she said, before thanking her former colleagues and calling them “the greatest team ever.”
Clips from the gathering showed Winfrey embracing former coworkers and posing with Smith and Graham while holding the platter of fried chicken.
The appearance also offered a rare public glimpse of Winfrey and Graham together. The pair have been together since 1986, the same year The Oprah Winfrey Show debuted, but have generally kept their relationship private and have never married.
Winfrey and Graham were last publicly seen together at the Tyler Perry Studios Grand Opening Gala in October 2019, according to Hello! Magazine.
The couple first met at a charity event in 1986. They initially became friends before beginning a relationship later that year.
