The reality star, who has long showcased her love of animals, introduced dachshund puppies on social media in 2023, including one she named Moo Pants.  While she initially shared festive posts featuring the dogs, her recent content has shifted heavily toward her cats, sparking speculation about what happened to the dachshunds.  Peter Obi Urges Nigerians to Pray for Politicians to Stop Stealing Public Funds

Peter Obi, a prominent presidential candidate and the former Governor of Anambra State, has delivered a candid assessment of Nigeria's leadership crisis, identifying the political class as the primary obstacle to national development. Speaking at a religious gathering in Abuja, Obi made an earnest appeal to citizens, asking them to focus their prayers on reforming the hearts of political leaders.

Politicians are Nigeria's Greatest Challenge, Says Obi

Addressing the congregation, Obi emphasized that the nation itself is not inherently flawed. Instead, he pointed out that the corrupt practices of those in power have consistently hindered progress. "We are all here for prayers, but pray for us politicians to stop stealing," Obi urged. "Politicians are the problem of the country. There is nothing wrong with the country, but the politicians are the issue."

He warned against compartmentalizing leaders into favorable or unfavorable categories, insisting that systemic greed is a widespread issue among public officials. "Pray for us politicians. Let God touch us to cease stealing. Do not say one is good and another is bad. We are the problem of the country," he reiterated.

A Call for Ethical Leadership and Accountability

To highlight the stark contrast between Nigeria and other developing nations, Obi recommended the book "Growing Apart" to the audience. He noted that while several countries started on a similar economic footing with Nigeria decades ago, they have since achieved significant progress due to disciplined governance and the responsible management of public resources.

"I’ve seen things work in other countries," Obi remarked, urging public servants to resist the temptation of corruption. "People should refrain from embezzling public funds. If we do the right thing, things will improve."

Obi's remarks come at a time when Nigerians are grappling with economic hardships, sparking fresh conversations about transparency, fiscal discipline, and the urgent need for structural reforms in the nation's governance.
