 Tim Curry’s “Rocky Horror” legacy honoured on Broadway as cast leads tribute after his death Tim Curry’s legacy as Dr. Frank-N-Furter was honoured on Broadway Wednesday night, with the cast of “The Rocky Horror Show” dedicating their curtain call to the late actor. Curry, who d!ed Tuesday at 80, originated the role of Frank-N-Furter in both the 1973 London stage production and the 1975 film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Paul Soileau, who currently plays Frank on Broadway, used the curtain call to remember the actor who first brought the character to life. “But if you trace it all back, 53 years ago there’s one home and one vessel, one mothership that Frank-N-Furter can actually call home. And it’s Tim Curry,” Soileau said. The audience responded with applause before breaking into a “Tim! Tim! Tim!” chant. POLICE COMMA THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE EDO POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN STORE BREAK-IN, RECOVER 5 MILLION NAIRA STOLEN PROPERTY 


The Edo State Police Command has arrested 42-year-old Marvelous Ozu, in connection with the store breaking and stealing at a pharmaceutical/provision store along St. Saviour Road, Benin City. On 22nd August 2026, at about 1015hrs, one Nwasiwe Felix, a trader dealing in pharmaceuticals and provisions, reported at St. Saviour Police Division that unknown persons had broken into his store at No. 65 St. Saviour Road, Benin City, and carted away several items, including 25 bundles of electrical wires/cables, a 43-inch Hisense LED television, cartons of Chabbot and Valentino brandy, a Raleigh bicycle, assorted medicated soaps, perfumes and cash sum of Three Hundred and Fifty thousand Naira (N350,000). Following the report, detectives visited the scene and commenced investigation. Dealers in fairly-Used items were also alerted. At about 1400hrs the same day, the police detectives successfully apprehended the suspect, at Mission Road, Benin City, while attempting to sell some of the stolen items. A search warrant was subsequently executed at his residence on Ogbebor Street, off Upper Sakponba Road, Benin City, where stolen items were recovered including a 43-inch Hisense LED television, five bottles of Chabbot brandy, assorted medicated soaps, perfumes and some bundles of electrical wires,/cables, among other items belonging to the complainant. The suspect has confessed to several other store break-in and stealing. He will be arraigned in court upon conclusion of investigation. The Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command, CP Patrick Daaor, mnips, commends the detectives for their swift response and urged members of the public to remain vigilant and promptly report suspicious activities to the Police.
