Former Catholic Knight arrested over alleged ritual cleansing exercise in Nnewi Vigilantes in Nnewi have arrested Sir James Louis Okoye, a former Catholic Knight of St John International, who reportedly renounced Christianity during the official opening of Our Lady of Assumpta Catholic Church, Nnewi in January this year over non-recognition of late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah. Okoye was arrested after he was seen on Saturday wearing a red dress with fresh palm fronds between his lips, with a bell in hand, performing what he believed was the ritual cleansing of Nnewi land on the streets of the town. Okoye gained popularity in January, during the official consecration of the Nnewi Catholic Cathedral, where he decried the non-recognition Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who he believed built the cathedral to almost completion before his death. Rihanna shares rare family photos after Barbados trip with 3 children


Rihanna recently returned to her roots in Barbados, bringing her three children along for a special visit to her childhood home in Bridgetown. The Grammy winner, dressed in a flowing black dress, posed with sons RZA and Riot and baby daughter Rocki outside the bungalow now famously marked “Rihanna Drive.” 


In her Instagram post, she reflected on the surreal experience of revisiting the place where she grew up, now renamed in her honor, and expressed gratitude to God for her journey from a local girl to global superstar.


The trip coincided with Barbados’ annual Crop Over festival, where Rihanna made a dazzling appearance at the Grand Kadooment Day Parade. True to tradition, she embraced the vibrant celebration in a feathered and jewel‑adorned costume, complete with a dramatic headpiece. 


The festival, which dates back centuries to mark the end of the sugar cane harvest, has long been a cultural highlight for the island, and Rihanna’s participation underscored her enduring connection to her homeland despite her international fame.


Beyond the festivities, Rihanna gave fans a glimpse into her family life, sharing rare photos of her children and hinting that she may not be finished expanding her family. 


In January, she playfully responded to a post about choosing between glamour and pregnancy in 2026, suggesting she’s open to the idea of more kids. 


With her career achievements, including chart‑topping hits and her Fenty Beauty empire, Rihanna continues to balance her role as a cultural icon with her devotion to family and heritage.
