A car filled with fireworks exploded during an illegal religious parade in central Mexico, killing a teenage boy and injuring at least a dozen more, terrifying video captured. Locals were participating in a procession Thursday in the city of Cuautitlán Izcalli — 21 miles from Mexico City — as part of an annual patron saint festival honoring San Francisco de Asis. Adults and children are seen celebrating as confetti hovers in the air when the pyrotechnics loaded into the vehicle catch fire, the video shows. Bystanders then turn toward the vehicle when the blast suddenly goes off. The person filming is knocked off their feet, while a person is seen sobbing nearby, according to the horrifying video.  Sudan army chief declares Khartoum safe, says armed forces belong to all Sudanese


Sudan’s army chief and Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan said on Saturday that the armed forces are a national institution representing all Sudanese and do not belong to any tribe or particular group, while declaring Khartoum safe and stable, Anadolu Agency reported.


Of Sudan’s 18 states, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) control the five states of Darfur in western Sudan, except for parts of North Darfur that remain under army control, according to the latest territorial picture. The army controls most of the remaining 13 states, including the capital, Khartoum.


Sudan has been engulfed in conflict between the army and the RSF since April 2023, a war that has killed tens of thousands of people and displaced nearly 13 million others, according to UN and international estimates.
