Kim Kardashian Was Warned That Meeting Donald Trump Could End Her Career, But Her Response Was Unexpected! Kim Kardashian wasn't willing to let public opinion stop her from fighting for people behind bars. According to revelations in the new book Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future by Jonathan Van Meter, Kim faced serious warnings from people around her when she planned to visit the White House to meet President Donald Trump and advocate for prisoners.  Tanzania swears in new Vice-President Ndejembi

Tanzania’s former energy minister Deogratius Ndejembi has been sworn in as the country’s vice-president at a ceremony held in State House in the capital, Dodoma.

The 43 year-old replaces Emmanuel Nchimbi, who resigned from the position earlier this week, TRT Afrika reported.

Ndejembi has pledged loyalty to President Samia Suluhu Hassan and promised to serve all Tanzanians regardless of their political affiliations.

He was nominated to the position by the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, before being unanimously approved by parliament on Friday.

In her remarks after the swearing-in ceremony on Saturday, President Samia urged her new vice-president to mature quickly to the tasks of the role despite his young age.

She described Ndejembi’s appointment as a reflection of her government's commitment to handing leadership roles to the youth.
