NEW ECOWAS COMMISSION PRESIDENT GEN BIRAME DIOP ASSUMES OFFICE The new President of the ECOWAS Commission, General Birame Diop, has  assumed office. General Diop, a former Senegalese Minister of Defence and former Chief of the General Staff of the Senegalese Armed Forces, was appointed by the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government at its 69th Ordinary Summit in Sierra Leone. He succeeds Dr. Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia, whose four-year tenure as President of the ECOWAS Commission has come to an end. The new ECOWAS Commission President Diop has promised to provide strategic leadership as the organisation works to strengthen regional integration, peace and security, economic cooperation and institutional effectiveness.  Two school custodians found fatally shot inside Chicago elementary school

Two school custodians were found shot to death Monday inside Mark Twain Elementary School near Chicago’s Midway International Airport.

Chicago police said officers discovered two adults unresponsive inside the school Monday afternoon. A 48-year-old woman had suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while a 63-year-old man also had been shot in the head.

Both victims were taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition, where they were pronounced dead.

Police recovered a weapon at the scene and said the investigation remains ongoing.

The school’s principal said no students were inside the building when the shooting occurred.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
