 2026 Ballon D’Or: Kane, Yamal And Mbappé Headline Star-Studded 30-Man Shortlist


The race for the 2026 Ballon D’Or has officially entered its final stage, with Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé among the biggest names included in the 30-man shortlist for football’s most prestigious individual prize.


Kane has emerged as one of the leading contenders after a sensational campaign with Bayern Munich and England, while Yamal’s remarkable performances for Barcelona and Spain have strengthened his case for the award.


Mbappé is also among the headline nominees after another prolific season, while other major names on the list include Lionel Messi, Jude Bellingham, Erling Haaland and Rodri.
