Kim Kardashian Awarded Symbolic 1 Euro in Damages Over 2016 Paris Robbery A Paris court has officially awarded media mogul Kim Kardashian a symbolic 1 euro ($1.15) in damages following the infamous 2016 armed robbery in the French capital. The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. 30 Robots Take To Streets Of Poland In Unusual Protest Against AI Job Threats

Around 30 robots took to the streets of Warsaw on Monday, September 7, in an unusual demonstration calling for stronger regulation of artificial intelligence and robotics.

The robots marched outside Poland’s Ministry of Digital Affairs, with humanoid and four-legged machines waving flags while loudspeakers played slogans including “Defend workplaces,” “Time for rules” and “Don’t wait, regulate.”

The demonstration was organised by Democratism, an initiative seeking to raise public debate about how AI and robotisation could affect the labour market.

Organiser Grzegorz Kulis said the protest was intended to highlight concerns that humanoid robots and artificial intelligence could eventually replace human workers, including those in cognitive jobs.

One of the humanoid robots, Agibot A3, told AFP that the machines were being used to demonstrate that AI-powered robotics had already become a reality.

Poland’s Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski also visited the demonstration and warned that uncontrolled AI models integrated into increasingly advanced humanoid robots could become a major problem.

The protest comes as Poland moves to implement the European Union’s AI Act through a national authority responsible for enforcing the bloc’s regulations.
