Texas Senate race heats up as James Talarico’s pastor caught saying some churchgoers 'wish' Trump assassin was 'more successful' The Texas Senate race between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico has been shaped by a heated debate over religion in politics.  The controversy erupted after Reverend Babs Miller of Talarico’s Austin church was caught on video suggesting that some congregants wished the assassination attempt on Donald Trump had been “more successful.”  The remarks drew swift condemnation from critics, who warned against using faith to justify violence and called the comments a betrayal of Christian teachings on peace. The uproar highlighted the starkly different religious approaches of the two candidates. Paxton, a staunch evangelical, campaigns on traditional faith‑based rights and opposition to liberal cultural trends.  Talarico, a seminary student, frames his politics around the biblical command to “love your neighbor,” emphasizing tolera...

AN OFFICER OPERATING A DRONE, MILES AWAY, ALLOWED A FELLOW OFFICER TO RESCUE A 5-YEAR-OLD CHILD WHO WAS LITERALLY SECONDS FROM DROWNING.(PHOTO).

An officer operating a drone, miles away, allowed a fellow officer to rescue a 5-year-old child who was literally seconds from drowning.

A 5-year-old boy in St. Paul, Minnesota, had wandered away from his home on Monday. The child, whose parents say is on the spectrum, like many others who face his special challenges, had wandered into a nearby body of water.

In a stroke of luck, a passerby spotted the child struggling in the water. For reasons undisclosed, the witness dialed 911 rather than attempting to rescue the child.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, officers were immediately dispatched. However, Sergeant Matt St. Sauver stayed behind at the station and utilized a drone to reconnaissance the area.

The drone was able to arrive on the scene two minutes ahead of officers and pinpoint the child's exact location.

The video feed from the drone captured the young boy desending into a clear state of panic as he struggled in the murky water.

Sergeant St. Sauver was able to rely the information to Officer Adisak Sae Ma as he arrived on the scene. With only seconds to spare, Officer Sae Ma plunged into the water as the child's head began sinking below the surface.

He quickly reached the boy and was able to pull him from the water, preventing a potential tragic ending.

It is important to note that two days after the rescue, which was just yesterday, the St. Paul City council voted to "not allow police to expand the drone program".

Seriously, great job, officers.
