Kim Kardashian Awarded Symbolic 1 Euro in Damages Over 2016 Paris Robbery A Paris court has officially awarded media mogul Kim Kardashian a symbolic 1 euro ($1.15) in damages following the infamous 2016 armed robbery in the French capital. The ruling marks a major milestone in the reality star's quest for closure after what she previously described as the most terrifying ordeal of her life. Accountability Over Compensation The nominal sum awarded to Kardashian is exactly what she had requested from the court. In a joint statement with her stylist, Simone Harouche who was also present during the heist and received a matching 1-euro award Kardashian emphasized that the legal battle was never about money.  Art Garfunkel joins growing list of celebrities considering a move abroad over Trump presidency

Art Garfunkel, the 84‑year‑old musician best known as half of Simon & Garfunkel, has voiced deep unease with America’s current political climate under President Donald Trump.

In an interview with The Guardian, he said he is “thinking of leaving the country” due to concerns over climate change, international affairs, and what he sees as troubling shifts in U.S. foreign policy.

Garfunkel specifically criticized Trump’s military operation in Venezuela that led to the capture of Nicolás Maduro, questioning whether such actions represent a dangerous rewriting of global norms.

He joins a growing list of celebrities who have either relocated or threatened to leave the U.S. in protest of Trump’s presidency. Rosie O’Donnell moved to Ireland after the 2024 election, James Cameron has pursued citizenship in New Zealand, and Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi made their stay in the U.K. permanent.

O’Donnell, in particular, has been outspoken, calling Trump “Mango Mussolini” and citing Project 2025 as a reason for her departure. These moves highlight how entertainers are using relocation as both a lifestyle choice and a political statement.

Political strategist Kaivan Shroff noted that while celebrity threats to leave are often dismissed, Garfunkel’s comments reflect genuine alienation rather than brand‑building.

At his age and stature, Shroff argued, Garfunkel’s remarks are less about publicity and more about expressing dismay at America’s role in the world. He suggested that Garfunkel’s unease resonates with many who feel the U.S. is abandoning long‑standing principles.

Whether or not Garfunkel actually leaves, his words underscore a broader cultural divide over Trump’s policies and America’s global identity.
