COURT ADJOURNS EL-RUFAI, SIX OTHERS' #8.68 BILLION FRAUD CASE TO DECEMBER 8 The Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna has adjourned the trial of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, and six others over alleged corruption and money laundering involving an ₦8.68 billion Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance contract to December 8, 2026, following changes in the legal teams representing the prosecution and the first defendant. A statement by Head Media and Public Communications(ICPC), Okor Odey says the matter instituted by Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), came up before Honourable Justice Hauwa’u Buhari of the Federal High Court, Kaduna Judicial Division, where the newly appointed prosecution counsel, Ibrahim Muktar, announced his appearance and informed the court of a change in the prosecution team. FLOOD ALERT: ANAMBRA GOVERNMENT URGES RESIDENTS TO TAKE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

The Anambra State Government has issued a flood alert to all residents of the state following a forecast by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET).


The forecast listed Anambra as one of the states likely to experience above-normal flooding this year due to its location within the delta belt.


The alert was jointly issued by the Ministry of Information and Value Reformation and the Ministry of Environment on September 22.


The Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation, Dr. Law Mefor, and the Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Clem Aguiyi, said government is taking proactive steps to mitigate the impact of the anticipated flooding.


They, however, called on Ndi Anambra to prioritise personal and collective safety throughout the rainy season.


Residents are therefore strongly advised to remain vigilant and take the NiMET prediction seriously throughout the rainy season.


They are also advised to avoid unnecessary movements during heavy downpours, whether on foot or by vehicle.


The government further urged residents to take all necessary precautionary measures to ensure personal safety, including relocating from flood-prone areas where necessary and seeking help promptly during emergencies.


The government reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property and solicited maximum cooperation from the public.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
