 Atiku pledges scholarship to viral Niger teen miner Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday said his “heart breaks” each time he watches a viral video of a teenage artisanal miner, Yusuf Aliyu, speaking at a mining site in Niger State after the deaths of 37 miners in the state. Atiku, in a statement posted on his X handle, said he was prepared to support the boy’s education, describing him as a child whose intelligence and confidence should be nurtured in a classroom rather than by working at a mining site. “I have watched Yusuf Aliyu’s video repeatedly, and each time, my heart breaks. A child with such intelligence, clarity and confidence should be in a classroom building his future—not struggling for survival in a community surrounded by gold but buried in poverty. “I cannot look at him and see an ‘illegal miner.’ I see a Nigerian child failed by the country that should have protected him. I see brilliance trapped by poverty and enormous promise abandoned by leadership,” ...

 Hayden Panettiere received 'little bags' from alleged dealers at condo in LA for years, sources say


Neighbors of Hayden Panettiere’s West Hollywood condo recalled seeing three individuals two young women and a man making repeated visits to her unit between 2021 and shortly before her death. They reportedly dropped off “little bags” that Panettiere accepted before they quickly left.


 The man, described as being in his mid‑30s and carrying a bag labeled “Brian,” was last seen about a week before her passing. After her death, the trio stopped appearing around the building.


Sources suggested Panettiere may have taken a fatal pill on the day she died, allegedly purchased from a longtime Los Angeles dealer known for selling oxycodone. Investigators suspect the pill could have been laced with fentanyl, though toxicology results were still pending. 


The DEA was reportedly examining the dealer’s role in the case, with results expected to take weeks.


Dr. Drew, speaking on TMZ Live, noted that Panettiere may have experienced a period of sobriety before relapsing, adding that such relapses can remain hidden from those close to the person. 


The actress, remembered for her roles in Heroes and Scream 4, was 36 at the time of her death, and her struggles with addiction have been a focus of ongoing discussion.
