On 17th October, 2026 at about 1015hrs, four complainants (two males and two females), all of Birshi Gandu, reported at 'E' Division that on the same day, while they were asleep in their compound housing Cozy Resort Hotel, three hoodlums armed with knives and machetes forcefully broke in and dispossessed them of their personal belongings including Samsung Galaxy S22 and S23, Redmi Note 14, iPhones, iPads, a Lenovo laptop, a Samsung tablet, power banks, earpods and other valuables running into millions of Naira, including office ID cards and driver's license.  IGP DISU CONFERS POLICE NATIONAL YOUTH AMBASSADOR APPOINTMENT ON FLUTTERWAVE CEO, OLUGBENGA AGBOOLA OON


The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, on Monday, 7th September 2026, received the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Flutterwave, Mr Olugbenga Agboola, OON, at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he formally conferred on him the appointment as National Youth Ambassador of the Nigeria Police Force under the International Youth Day 2026 – National Youth Security, Peacebuilding and Empowerment Initiative.


The appointment recognises Mr Agboola’s achievements as a technology entrepreneur and his leadership in building Flutterwave into a leading African financial technology company, particularly his contributions to innovation, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship and responsible enterprise.


The initiative is designed to leverage positive youth leadership and credible role models to promote peacebuilding, cybersecurity awareness, entrepreneurship and constructive civic participation, while encouraging young Nigerians to reject cybercrime and other social vices.


The IGP noted that the appointment reflects the Force’s commitment to engaging young Nigerians as partners in building safer communities and promoting responsible citizenship. He emphasised the importance of providing young people with positive pathways through education, innovation, entrepreneurship and lawful enterprise.


The IGP also highlighted the need to strengthen the technological capacity of young Police officers, particularly their understanding of emerging technologies and their application to modern policing. He noted that developing expertise in digital tools, technology and cyber-related investigative techniques would enhance the Force’s capacity to investigate cybercrime, trace digital evidence and respond effectively to technology-enabled criminality.


The IGP charged the new Ambassador to use his platform and influence to inspire young Nigerians to pursue legitimate opportunities, embrace integrity and responsible innovation, and contribute meaningfully to national development.


In his response, Agboola expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to support the objectives of the initiative, particularly in youth empowerment, cybersecurity awareness, entrepreneurship and peaceful civic engagement.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
