 U.S commends NDLEA over busts of Mexican meth labs as Marwa seeks continued support.   The United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) for Africa and the Middle East, Michael Gonzales has commended the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for its operational successes, describing Nigeria as the clear answer for the first country to visit after his appointment. Gonzales made the remark on Tuesday, 20th October 2026, during a visit to the NDLEA national headquarters in Abuja, where he was received by the Chairman/CEO, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), and members of the agency's management team.  Jennifer Aniston finally explains why adoption was never her path after fertility struggles


At 56, Jennifer Aniston is opening up about why she never chose adoption despite years of fertility struggles. During a candid conversation on the Armchair Expert podcast, she said when people tell her she can adopt, her honest answer is that she wanted her own DNA in a little person. 


She said that may sound selfish, but that was the dream she always had, to see a part of herself reflected in a child.


She has previously spoken about going through multiple rounds of IVF, trying holistic remedies, and dealing with the emotional toll of failed attempts, all while facing constant public speculation during and after her marriage to Brad Pitt. 


On the podcast, when co-host Monica Padman shared her own doubts about motherhood and freezing eggs, Aniston said there came a point where it was out of her hands and there was nothing more she could do.


 That surrender, she said, eventually brought her peace after years of fighting for something that would not happen.


Her comments have sparked a lot of debate online. Some critics called her stance selfish or insensitive to the adoption community, while others praised her for being honest about her personal desire for a biological child and for not apologizing for it. 


Her story highlights how personal and emotional the topic of motherhood can be, and how years of media scrutiny over every appearance and interview made an already painful private journey even harder.
