Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 Linda Cardellini reveals marriage plans after 13-year engagement


Linda Cardellini, fresh off her Emmy win for Outstanding Supporting Actress, admitted she’s not sure if marriage is in the cards despite being engaged to Steven Rodriguez for 13 years. 


Speaking at the 2026 Emmys, she explained that they’ve already done “all the hard stuff” of building a life together, and what remains is essentially just a big party. With their large families, she joked that planning such a celebration has been ongoing for 16 years.


Cardellini, 51, shares a 14‑year‑old daughter, Lilah‑Rose, with Rodriguez, and their relationship has roots stretching back to childhood. The two first met in elementary school but only reconnected years later when Rodriguez moved to Los Angeles to pursue makeup artistry. 


Their friendship eventually blossomed into romance, and he now often does her makeup for red‑carpet events. Cardellini has described their bond as one built on long‑standing trust and companionship.


Though the couple keeps their romance relatively private, Cardellini has spoken warmly about Rodriguez, calling him one of the “amazing people” she’s collected in her life. 


She emphasized that she values close, lasting friendships over large social circles, and Rodriguez is both her partner and one of her closest friends. 


Whether or not they ever officially marry, Cardellini made clear that their relationship is already deeply established and meaningful.
