 Enyimba training disrupted as power struggle intensifies after third straight defeat The internal power struggle at nine-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions Enyimba deepened on Monday when sporting director Daniel Eke, accompanied by officers of the Nigerian Police Force, disrupted the club’s training session following a home defeat to Inter Lagos. Inter Lagos claimed their first league win of the season on Sunday, edging Enyimba 1-0 at the Enyimba Stadium. Ezekiel Moses scored the decisive goal in the 18th minute, rising to meet a pinpoint cross with a header. The result left Enyimba without a point after three matches at the start of the 2026/27 season and marked their third consecutive defeat amid ongoing problems both on and off the pitch.  Melissa McCarthy reveals if she believes a family member killed JonBenét Ramsey


Netflix is releasing a new limited series, The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey, starring Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as Patsy and John Ramsey. The series focuses on one of the most well-known unsolved cases in American history and looks at both the personal impact on the family and the intense public attention that followed the death of JonBenét Ramsey on Christmas night in 1996.


Speaking to Variety about taking on the role, McCarthy shared that she approached the project with a lot of compassion for the family. She said that while she initially hesitated to get involved, she decided to look deeper into the case after spending time researching it. 


She reflected on how public perception was shaped in 1996 and admitted that she, like many others at the time, had formed judgments based on tabloid coverage without fully understanding the situation.


McCarthy said she developed a strong sense of empathy for Patsy Ramsey while filming and was struck by how the family's experience became a major public spectacle. 


She expressed hope that the series would encourage viewers to reflect on how the case was discussed in the media and the importance of approaching it with more humanity, rather than bringing additional pain to the family.
