The Nigerian film industry is in deep mourning as popular Yoruba film actress, Temitope Osoba, affectionately known as Tope Osoba, has been laid to rest. The emotional ceremony took place on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Iperu Remo cemetery in Ogun State, drawing tears from family, close friends, and prominent industry colleagues.


Colleagues Pay Their Last Respects


The somber event was attended by several notable Nollywood personalities who gathered to support the grieving family and bid their final farewells. Among the film stars present at the graveside were Kunle Afod, Joke Jigan, Basira Badia, and Foluke Daramola.
