Finnish Court Slashes Pro-Biafra Agitator Simon Ekpa's Jail Term From 6 Years To 4 Years But Upholds Terrorism Conviction Finnish appeal court has reduced the prison sentence of pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, from six years to four years, while maintaining his conviction for terrorism-related offences. According to Finnish public broadcaster Yle, the court on Thursday, October 15, upheld its earlier finding that Ekpa participated in a terrorist organisation and publicly incited crimes for terrorist purposes. Ekpa was initially sentenced to six years in prison in September 2025 by the Päijät-Häme District Court after he was found guilty of terrorism offences, aggravated tax fraud and violation of the Lawyers Act. During the appeal, Ekpa argued that his actions in the South-East were driven by political agitation and not terrorist intent. The prosecution on the other hand argued that the six-year sentence was too lenient given the gravity of his crimes. The appeal co...

Presley Gerber’s Ex Breaks Silence on His Death in Heartbreaking Tribute

Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Charlotte D’Alessio is mourning the 27-year-old model following his sudden death, sharing an emotional tribute to the man she says deserved “more time” and “more life.”

D’Alessio broke her silence on social media following the death of Gerber, the only son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber.

The former couple dated for approximately two years, and D’Alessio reflected on their relationship by sharing photographs and memories from their time together.

“Shared a pure love with you,” she wrote in part while remembering her former boyfriend.

D’Alessio described Gerber as someone she would always carry with her and expressed heartbreak over the struggles he faced during his life.

“You deserved more time. You deserved more life,” she wrote.

In another emotional message, D’Alessio added, “Love u Pres. always.”

Her tribute offered a deeply personal glimpse at Gerber away from the famous family name and modeling career that introduced him to the public.

Gerber died Sept. 20 at age 27 after he was reportedly found unresponsive at a treatment facility in Santa Monica, California.

Authorities have been investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, which has been reported as a suspected overdose. An official cause and manner of death will ultimately be determined by the medical examiner.

Gerber had been open about struggling with addiction and seeking treatment.

In one of his final social media posts, he shared a candid look at his experience receiving treatment and expressed hope that it would be the final time he needed to go through the process.

His death just months later has prompted an outpouring of tributes from friends and others who knew him.

Gerber’s former girlfriend Lexi Wood has also publicly mourned his death, remembering him as someone who fought hard while dealing with personal struggles.

The loss has been especially devastating for Gerber’s family.

He was the eldest child of Crawford and Rande Gerber and the older brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber.

Presley followed his mother into fashion at a young age, appearing in campaigns and walking runways for major designers. He and Kaia frequently attended fashion events together as their respective modeling careers grew.

But Gerber’s life eventually became about more than fashion.

In recent years, he increasingly used his public platform to discuss mental health, addiction and the importance of people being honest about what they were experiencing behind closed doors.

D’Alessio’s tribute now adds another side to the young man remembered by those closest to him — not simply as the son of two famous parents or a model, but as someone who was deeply loved.

For D’Alessio, the memories of their relationship will remain even as she struggles to process his death.

Her message was simple but heartbreaking: Presley Gerber deserved more time.
