Finnish Court Slashes Pro-Biafra Agitator Simon Ekpa's Jail Term From 6 Years To 4 Years But Upholds Terrorism Conviction Finnish appeal court has reduced the prison sentence of pro-Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa, from six years to four years, while maintaining his conviction for terrorism-related offences. According to Finnish public broadcaster Yle, the court on Thursday, October 15, upheld its earlier finding that Ekpa participated in a terrorist organisation and publicly incited crimes for terrorist purposes. Ekpa was initially sentenced to six years in prison in September 2025 by the Päijät-Häme District Court after he was found guilty of terrorism offences, aggravated tax fraud and violation of the Lawyers Act.   SHE BROUGHT BREAD FOR HER BOYFRIEND IN POLICE CUSTODY… THEN OFFICERS OPENED IT

A visit to see her boyfriend reportedly ended with a 26-year-old woman being arrested at Buruburu Police Station in Nairobi, Kenya.

The woman, identified as Bernice Achieng, had gone to the police station to visit her boyfriend, who was being held there.

She reportedly came with a loaf of bread and asked the officers at the report office to pass it to him.

But something about the bread immediately caught the officers’ attention.

The package was already unsealed.

Instead of simply handing it over, officers decided to inspect it.

What they reportedly found inside shocked them.

Hidden deep inside the loaf were five rolls of suspected bhang and a matchbox.

But the search did not end there.

Officers reportedly searched the woman’s jacket and allegedly discovered seven more rolls of suspected bhang in her pocket.

That brought the total number of rolls reportedly recovered to 12.

The woman was then taken into police custody, while the recovered items were secured as exhibits. Reports said she was expected to be arraigned in court. (KBC Digital)

At this stage, these are police allegations, and the case had not yet been decided by a court.
