 ANAMBRA SHMB WARNS HEALTH INFORMATION OFFICERS OVER LATE REPORTS, REITERATES 7TH-DAY DEADLINE By Ebele Egoh The Anambra State Hospital Management Board (SHMB) has urged Health Information Management Officers to ensure accurate medical records, timely data submission and strict protection of patients’ confidential information to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. The Director of Medical Support Services of the Board, Mrs Nneka Uzor, gave the call during a meeting and training session for health information personnel held on Oct. 9 at the SHMB conference hall. Mrs Uzor stressed that maintaining complete medical records and safeguarding patients’ information are essential professional responsibilities, cautioning  the officers against disclosing sensitive health information to unauthorised persons and urged them to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality. TWO MEN DELIVERED A SUITCASE THAT HELD THIS WOMAN'S REMAINS TO A FIRE DEPARTMENT THE VERY SAME DAY SHE HAD BEEN REPORTED MISSING.(PHOTO)

 Two men delivered a suitcase that held this woman's remains to a fire department the very same day she had been reported missing.


What happened to Lorretta Moody? How did this 67-year-old woman end up crammed into luggage at a Wichita fire department?


What we do know is that two men delivered Lorretta's remains to Fire Department Station 22 at 6:25 p.m. on September 16th. This shocking discovery came after Lorretta had been reported missing at around 1 a.m. of the same day.


The fact that she went missing was hard to believe for those close to her. They reported that Lorretta had difficulty with mobility and required oxygen. 


The two men who brought her in were questioned by authorities but are not considered suspects.


Lorretta's remains were handed over to the Sedgwick County Medical Examiner Office. Authorities are waiting to learn an official cause of death. 


Hopefully, there will be answers soon on how Lorretta came to such an undignified ending.
