 CARSPO 2026: DAY TWO FEATURES STRATEGIC SESSIONS ON SMART POLICING, ELECTION SECURITY The second day of the sixth edition of the Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers, CARSPO 2026, holding in Owerri, Imo State, has featured strategic lectures, discussions and an interactive session on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026. The sessions have focused on contemporary policing issues, strategic communication, operational preparedness and election-security management. The programme has also featured an interactive session with the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, as senior police officers and resource persons continue deliberations on strengthening policing practice and security preparations for the 2027 General Elections.  ANAMBRA POLICE ACKNOWLEDGE AWKA SOUTH LGA CHAIRMAN’S ASSISTANCE IN RESCUE OF NINE PERSONS FOLLOWING FLOOD INCIDENT ON NIBO–ISIAGU ROAD, AWKA; SEARCH CONTINUES FOR ONE MISSING PERSON


The Anambra State Police Command has acknowledged and appreciated the timely intervention and assistance of the Chairman of Awka South Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Chinedu Okafor in the ongoing rescue and search operations following a flood incident along the Nibo–Isiagu Road, Awka.


So far, nine persons have been rescued alive, while search and rescue operations are still ongoing for one person who is currently unaccounted for.


The Command particularly appreciates the heroic intervention of the Chairman of Awka South Local Government Area for providing necessary support to the rescue efforts and working with the Police and other stakeholders to ensure the safety of affected persons.


The CP has further directed that the search operation should continue until every possible effort has been exhausted to locate the remaining missing person.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
