  A 16-year-old Texas boy was struck by a school bus before being dragged and left catastrophically injured.  Jakxon Kessler was leaving the campus at Clear Lake High School in Harris County, Texas, on October 16th, when an accident with a school bus wrecked his junior year.  As Jakxon hopped on his bicycle and began the journey home, he was struck by a school bus. After being struck Jakxon was dragged for approximately 30 feet. Every second of the ordeal was agony, and Jakxon has a very long road to healing ahead. During the course of the accident, Jakxon's right ear was almost completely torn off. His spine was seriously fractured, and both shoulder blades were fully broken.  These are a combined set of injuries that are extremely painful and hard to recover from. A 17-YEAR-OLD GIRL IS NOW MISSING FROM THE SAME FLORIDA SCHOOL DISTRICT WHERE A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL FELT SHE HAD NO WAY TO ESCAPE BULLIES OTHER THAN TO JUMP FROM A MOVING BUS. (PHOTO)

 A 17-year-old girl is now missing from the same Florida school district where a 14-year-old girl felt she had no way to escape bullies other than to jump from a moving bus. 


17-year-old Lillian 'Lily' Bennett has had zero communication with loved ones on October 21st, 2026. This disturbing disappearance comes only days after parents and concerned community members protested outside of the school, and a school board meeting. Those protests were a reaction to Estrella Meras and her harrowing tale we wrote about recently. We are hoping  people in the area see this and can assist with locating Lillian.


Now, another family in Okeechobee School District is trapped inside of feelings of helplessness. 


17-year-old Lily Bennett was last seen near Okeechobee High School at approximately 1:30 p.m. on October 21st. Her last contact was to her mother on her cell phone at around this time. 


At the time of her disappearance, Lily was wearing blue skinny jeans, a purple hoodie and a light blue shirt. She had on HEYDUDE shoes and a black book bag. 


Lily is described as 5'7" and 120lbs.


Lily's mother Kourtney has taken to social media to plead directly to her daughter asking her to please let someone know she is safe and okay.
