 Over 80,000 tickets for Fury-Joshua bout sell out in 60 minutes Tickets for the highly anticipated heavyweight clash between British boxing rivals Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua have sold out within an hour of going on sale, with more than 500,000 fans reportedly waiting in the online queue. As reported by BBC Sport on Friday, about 80,000 tickets were released for the fight, which is scheduled to take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in Wales on December 11, with the main event expected to begin in the early hours of December 12. The tickets went on sale at 12:00 BST on Friday, with prices ranging from £88.50 to £13,128, including booking fees. The bout, which will be broadcast globally on Netflix, was announced in September and is being promoted through a collaboration between Saudi boxing powerbroker Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and Ultimate Fighting Championship chief Dana White.  AAU Lecturer Dies in Edo Hotel After Alleged Encounter With 21-Year-Old Woman.


A senior lecturer at Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Dr Matthew Uwuigbe, has d'ied in a hotel room in the Mosco area of Ekpoma following an alleged encounter with a 21-year-old woman.

The incident reportedly occurred on October 5, 2026.

According to the Edo State Police Command, Uwuigbe had lodged at the hotel with the woman and later sent her out to purchase water.

The woman, upon returning to the room, reportedly found the lecturer lying de'ad and raised the alarm.

The police said the hotel owner, manager and the woman have been arrested and are assisting with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the de'ath.

Uwuigbe's remains have been deposited at the Oriaifo Memorial Hospital mortuary, while investigations continue.

The university confirmed that Uwuigbe was a member of its academic staff but clarified that the incident occurred outside the institution's premises and that the woman involved was not a student of the university.

The police have not yet disclosed the cause of death, saying investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances that led to the lecturer's de'ath.
