 Iyienu College of Nursing Sciences Matriculates, Caps 183 Student Nurses ‎ ‎By Nneka Ejeckam ‎ ‎The College of Nursing Sciences, Iyienu, has matriculated and capped 183 student nurses of the 2025 set of National Diploma (ND) Nursing students. ‎The ceremony, held on October 2, marked an important milestone in the academic and professional journey of the student nurses.  ‎ ‎The Proprietor and Bishop on the Niger, His Lordship, the Rt. Rev. Owen Chiedozie Nwokolo, was represented at the event by Ven. Frank Obi. The occasion attracted dignitaries, government representatives, captains of industry, parents and other guests who gathered to celebrate the achievement of the student nurses. ‎ ‎Speaking on behalf of the Bishop, Ven. Frank Obi thanked God for the successful ceremony and congratulated the matriculating and capped students on their achievement. Those bills wey una family and friends abroad dey always tell una say, bill, bill, bill. I want to pay it now with my rent, and after making this payment, am not paying for anything again. It will last me for the whole month.


But your families over here will be shouting bills as if they pay it every week. This $800 is my four-days income. It covers my rent and bills, because they will be complaining, making you feel they pay bills more than you people in Nigeria.


In Nigeria, you pay bills multiple times, but over here, once you pay once, you’ve settled all your bills, and it will last till the end of the month. 


But you people believe them, because if you can believe people like Arome and other f@ke pastors in Nigeria, why won’t you believe them?


This rent covers my electricity bill, water, gas. If I like I cook 10 cows, the gas won’t finish. No be by prayers, na because say we get good government..."
