The Chief of Air Staff has ordered a comprehensive investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Nigerian Air Force said it will provide verified updates as the investigation progresses and urged the public to avoid speculation and the spread of unverified information while respecting the privacy and dignity of the affected families.
A condolence register has also been opened at Nigerian Air Force Headquarters, Abuja, for officials, members of the diplomatic corps, security chiefs and other well-wishers to pay their respects and offer condolences to the families and the Nigerian Air Force.
