UPDATE: THE LATE GHANAIAN ACTRESS BEVERLY AFAGLO DIED ABOUT SIX WEEKS AFTER DOCTORS TOLD HER SHE HAD TWO MONTHS TO LIVE FOLLOWING THE SPREAD OF HER CANCER, HER SISTER, MAMA FIAWOTOE I, HAS REVEALED.(PHOTO).

The late Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo died about six weeks after doctors told her she had two months to live following the spread of her cancer, her sister, Mama Fiawotoe I, has revealed.

According to Mama Fiawotoe, doctors advised Beverly to spend time with her children, organise her documents and settle personal matters after informing her about the progression of her illness.

“From the time she was given the news, she was given two months to come and see her children, put her documents in order and do everything else. But I think she lived for about a month and a half before she died,” she told Gifty Anti in an interview.

Mama Fiawotoe also disclosed that Beverly refused to accept the possibility of her death, insisting that she would recover despite the doctors’ prognosis.

“She kept saying, ‘I'm not going to die. Stop asking me those questions. I'm not going to die,’” her sister recalled.

She said she had attempted to discuss Beverly’s businesses and make arrangements for her children in case she died, but the actress was unwilling to entertain such conversations.
