 AAC SEEK FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO ON SOWORE IN EKITI The African Action Congress, AAC, has called for further investigation into the reported attack on Omoyele Sowore and other party members in Ekiti State, despite the arrest of eleven suspects. In a statement by its national publicity secretary, Rex Elanu, the AAC says new video footage has emerged which it believes could help identify more persons involved in the incident. The party has expressed concern over the handling of CCTV recordings from the restaurant where the incident occurred, and alleges that some stolen phones were traced to the governor's lodge in Ekiti State. It is seeking an independent investigation into these claims, the handling of recovered items and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The AAC has also called for the arrest and prosecution of any other persons found to have been involved, and demanded an investigation into the conduct of any security officers who may have acted unprofessionally.

 A heartbreaking drama unfolded in Texas when a young mother's dreams of a new life ended in terror when her violent estranged husband kidnapped her and took her life while authorities desperately tried to save her. 


34-year-old Bianca Garza Ramirez had just finished nursing school only weeks before a monster from her past took away her future.


Bianca was the mother to three children and was set to begin residency in February 2027. She had accomplished this goal and was excited for a new beginning with her children and her new boyfriend, Ezekiel Cane.


All of those dreams came to a crashing halt on Thursday, October 29th, when the man who had assaulted her for years made sure she would never escape his abuse.


Bianca had fled the home she shared with Alex Ramirez in Mansfeild, Texas. After a life dominated by both physical and emotional abuse she had fled the relationship and moved to Burleson, Texas.


She soon met Ezeikel and the two began to build a life together. In an ominous foreshadowing of what lie ahead, Alex became enraged when he learned of their relationship. 


On Thursday morning, Ezekiel received a call that will surely haunt him the rest of his life. Bianca had just returned from taking her 9-year-old daughter to school when she called Ezekiel saying Alex was in the parking lot ....and armed. 


Ezekiel dialed 911 while rushing to their home. In one of the most heartbreaking details of this story, Ezekiel arrived just as Alex was pulling away with Bianca held captive in the vehicle.


Other witnesses would later describe seeing a woman being forced into a Black Yukon.


Ezekiel was able to follow close enough to keep 911 informed on the Yukon's location until officers had eyes on it. 


A harrowing police chase ensued in which Bianca herself managed a 911 call. Police were able to utilize spike strips to flatten two tires on the Yukon. 


However, Alex Ramirez continued driving with the damaged car down Highway 377 until turning onto a gravel road. 


This would be the end of the line for both Bianca and Alex. The vehicle came to a stop and officers began to carefully approach. Due to extremely tinted windows, police were forced to break a window. 


Sadly, Bianca was deceased from a gunshot wound only inches away from the person she had tried to escape. After taking Bianca's life Alex took his own.


I cannot imagine the emotions Bianca must have experienced in those last minutes. Hopeful and terrified in equal measure while police were actively trying to save her. She could literally look out her window and see her salvation as a man she used to love ended her life.


Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy but especially Bianca's children as they try to learn to live without their mother.
