AAC SEEK FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO ON SOWORE IN EKITI The African Action Congress, AAC, has called for further investigation into the reported attack on Omoyele Sowore and other party members in Ekiti State, despite the arrest of eleven suspects. In a statement by its national publicity secretary, Rex Elanu, the AAC says new video footage has emerged which it believes could help identify more persons involved in the incident. The party has expressed concern over the handling of CCTV recordings from the restaurant where the incident occurred, and alleges that some stolen phones were traced to the governor's lodge in Ekiti State. It is seeking an independent investigation into these claims, the handling of recovered items and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The AAC has also called for the arrest and prosecution of any other persons found to have been involved, and demanded an investigation into the conduct of any security officers who may have acted unprofessionally.

A WISCONSIN HALLOWEEN PARTY ENDED IN HEARTBREAK AFTER A BABY LOST HIS LIFE WHEN HE BIT A DECORATIVE BALLOON. (PHOTO).

A Wisconsin Halloween party ended in heartbreak after a baby lost his life when he bit a decorative balloon.

The baby was affectionately called 'Baby Don', Don'Vayaire was only 2 days from celebrating his very first birthday on October 24th.

Sadly, he would never see that milestone after a freak accident at a Halloween party cut his life short. It is an exceptionally hard blow on the family as they had purposely kept balloons from Baby Don throughout the festivities.

Despite their efforts as Baby Don sat in his car seat minutes before he and his mother were set to leave, a balloon broke free from a decoration. Sadly, the balloon landed within reach of Baby Don.

Things began to rush towards the tragic ending after Baby Don grabbed the balloon, which any baby would do.  He grabbed it and bit it before anyone even realized it had fallen off the decoration.

Baby Don immediately bit the balloon, causing it to pop. When it popped, the knot, tying the balloon closed, rocketed to the bottom of Baby Don's esophagus.

Baby Don's mother immediately knew what was happening and desperately tried to save her son's life. She stuck her fingers down his throat to attempt to dislodge the obstruction. Others at the party also attempted to remove or at least clear a small airway unsuccessfully.

Baby Don turned blue and went into cardiac arrest in an alarmingly quick amount of time, and CPR was immediately started.

First responders arrived only moments after the incident began due to the quick call to 911. They utilized a tube and pliers in an attempt to save Baby Don.

Sadly, even the trained professionals could not remove the balloon knot as it was in an especially difficult spot.

Despite everyone's best efforts, Baby Don passed away while EMS were genuinely desperately trying to save him.

This accident has left the family and everyone who hears the dramatic tale in shock. It seems unreal that a child so vital and full of life only moments earlier ...could now be deceased.

Our thoughts are with the family of Baby Don Avita-Mays.
