 AAC SEEK FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO ON SOWORE IN EKITI The African Action Congress, AAC, has called for further investigation into the reported attack on Omoyele Sowore and other party members in Ekiti State, despite the arrest of eleven suspects. In a statement by its national publicity secretary, Rex Elanu, the AAC says new video footage has emerged which it believes could help identify more persons involved in the incident. The party has expressed concern over the handling of CCTV recordings from the restaurant where the incident occurred, and alleges that some stolen phones were traced to the governor's lodge in Ekiti State. It is seeking an independent investigation into these claims, the handling of recovered items and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The AAC has also called for the arrest and prosecution of any other persons found to have been involved, and demanded an investigation into the conduct of any security officers who may have acted unprofessionally.

 Gayle King admits she tries to get 'Real Housewives' gossip out of close pal Andy Cohen


Gayle King is proving she's just as invested in reality TV drama as many fans, recently revealing that she frequently turns to Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen whenever she wants insider insight. 


Speaking at a recent event, the veteran broadcaster shared that she and Cohen are close friends and often exchange messages about the popular franchise, with King occasionally texting him to get his thoughts on the latest developments in the reality TV world.


Despite being a longtime viewer, King stopped short of naming her favorite Housewife or even her favorite city in the franchise. She admitted that choosing just one would be difficult, though she noted she doesn't watch every version of the show. 


Still, her comments confirmed that she's a dedicated fan who enjoys keeping up with the memorable personalities and storylines that have made the franchise a cultural phenomenon.


Outside of reality television, King remains as busy as ever with her journalism career and numerous professional commitments. She shared that her workdays rarely slow down, often requiring preparation and research long after leaving the studio.


 Even with a packed schedule, King emphasized that she genuinely loves what she does and remains motivated by doing meaningful work. Her remarks offered fans a glimpse into both her passion for pop culture and the strong work ethic that has helped make her one of television's most respected broadcasters.
