The ongoing feud involving Nollywood actress Anita Joseph and Gbemisola, the girlfriend of entertainer MC Fish, has escalated dramatically. Gbemisola has publicly accused the actress and her sister, Sandra, of cyberbullying, harassment, and targeting her underage daughter.
Taking to social media, Gbemisola shared details regarding the feud, alleging that Anita Joseph attempted to dig up damaging information about her past. According to Gbemisola, the movie star reached out directly to her child's father in an attempt to gather dirt on her. However, the plan reportedly backfired when the child's father immediately blocked the actress.
Anita Joseph's Sister Counters the Allegations
The controversy prompted a fiery response from Anita Joseph's sister, Sandra, who stepped in to defend the Nollywood star. Dismissing the accusations, Sandra described Gbemisola in harsh terms and maintained that Anita had long moved past the situation and possessed no interest in engaging in public drama.
Despite Sandra's statement, the conflict continued to escalate online as Gbemisola responded with further warnings on her social media handles.
Concerns Raised Over Safety of Minor Daughter
Gbemisola expressed deep worry over the safety of her family, emphasizing that her underage daughter has been dragged into the online harassment campaign. She noted that those launching attacks against her online lacked stability in their own relationships and warned them to stay away from her family.
Determined to seek legal redress, Gbemisola publicly tagged the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC) in her social media updates. She revealed that she had previously submitted formal complaints to the cybercrime authority on two separate occasions without receiving a response, urging the law enforcement agency to take immediate action to protect her minor child and spouse from further harassment.
