 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU DEPARTS JEDDAH FOR ABUJA AFTER SUCCESSFUL UMRAH IN MAKKAH President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday departed King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for Abuja after successfully completing his Umrah (Lesser Hajj) in the holy city of Makkah. President Tinubu's plane took off at the Royal Terminal of the King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, at exactly 5:13.pm Saudi time. The Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin MISHAAL bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Yakubu Gambo, and the Hon. Consul-General, Ambassador Muazam Ibrahim Nayaya, accompanied the President to the airport. Before departure, President Tinubu had a brief meeting with the Deputy Governor of Makkah at the Royal Guest Palace in the airport.  Isa Ashiru Mourns Three PDP Members Who Died In Fatal Auto Crash Along Kaduna–Kafanchan Road


Rt. Hon. Isa Mohammed Ashiru, Sarkin Bai Zazzau and ADC governorship candidate for the 2027 Kaduna State governorship election, has expressed profound shock and sadness over the death of three members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from Jema’a Local Government Area in a fatal road accident along the Kaduna–Kafanchan Road.


The deceased were identified as Comrade Caleb Ishaya Alot, PDP Secretary in Jema’a LGA; Ms. Mercy Achi, PDP Zonal Women Leader (Wise Women), Jema’a LGA; and Ms. Charity Bahago, a member of the PDP Wise Women in the local government area.


According to Ashiru, the trio lost their lives while carrying out party duties when the tragic incident occurred.


Describing their deaths as a monumental loss, Ashiru said their sudden departure had left a painful void in their immediate families, the PDP family in Jema’a, the zone and Kaduna State at large.


He extended his heartfelt condolences to the state, zonal and local leadership of the PDP, the families of the deceased, party members in Jema’a and the entire people of the local government.


The ADC governorship candidate prayed that Almighty God would grant the souls of the deceased eternal rest, comfort their bereaved families and give the PDP leadership and members the strength to overcome the painful loss.
