 AAC SEEK FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO ON SOWORE IN EKITI The African Action Congress, AAC, has called for further investigation into the reported attack on Omoyele Sowore and other party members in Ekiti State, despite the arrest of eleven suspects. In a statement by its national publicity secretary, Rex Elanu, the AAC says new video footage has emerged which it believes could help identify more persons involved in the incident. The party has expressed concern over the handling of CCTV recordings from the restaurant where the incident occurred, and alleges that some stolen phones were traced to the governor's lodge in Ekiti State. It is seeking an independent investigation into these claims, the handling of recovered items and the circumstances surrounding the incident. The AAC has also called for the arrest and prosecution of any other persons found to have been involved, and demanded an investigation into the conduct of any security officers who may have acted unprofessionally.

 Tragedy in Owerri, Imo State as Man Allegedly Throws Girlfriend’s Sister from Storey Building After She Reportedly Rejects His Sexual Advances


A disturbing incident has reportedly occurred at Mbonu Ejike, Owerri, Imo State, where a young man allegedly threw his girlfriend’s sister from a storey building after she reportedly rejected his sexual advances.


According to a voice note circulating online, a woman who claimed to live in the area alleged that the victim’s sister had travelled and left her with her boyfriend. The suspect reportedly attempted to have sexual intercourse with the victim, but she allegedly rejected his advances before he pushed her down from the building.


The suspect has reportedly been arrested by operatives of the Imo State Police Command following the incident, which allegedly occurred on Sunday.


As we await an official confirmation and further details from the Imo State Police Command, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unconfirmed.
