BAUCHI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE FOUR SUSPECTS ARRESTED OVER FARMER-HERDER CLASH IN NINGI LGA THAT CLAIMED ONE LIFE Following the unfortunate farmer-herder clash at Guda Village in Ningi Local Government Area, the Command wishes to inform the public that four suspects have now been arrested in connection with the incident. On 23rd September, 2026 at about 0740hrs, three farmers from Guda Village went to their farms on Guda Hill and found cattle belonging to a herder grazing on and destroying their crops. They chased the cattle to the herders' settlement where an argument ensued and degenerated into a fight. In the process, the three farmers sustained injuries. Sadly, in retaliation, some youths from Guda Village mobilized and set ablaze houses at the herders settlement. Operatives from Ningi Division responded promptly, restored normalcy and evacuated the injured to General Hospital Ningi.                    According to sources,the National Arts Theatre in Iganmu Lagos state,has been sold secretly by the Minister of Culture and Tourism,Edem Duke,ho traveled to the United Arab  Emirates,where he traded off the theater to Mulk Holding,a company based in the UAE.The deal was signed and sealed these month of December 2014 for $40 million.According to the CEO of  National Theater Kabir Yaradua who said that ''The interior of the National Theatre will be redesigned and renovated into a modern duty free and retail shopping mall.The project will convert approximately 30,000m2 of the existing space in two 15,000m2 phases''.I condemn the sale because they would have done all the renovations without the help of any external help.What is the difference between the people that stole almost all our art works before independence and the sale of the National Art Theatre?.

A 16 YEAR OLD BOY,ARRESTED IN TURKEY FOR INSULTING THEIR PRESIDENT.

          The boy is identified by his initials as M.E.A,a school student was arrested for insulting their Turkey President,Recep Tyyip Erdogan on thursday christmas day.Though what the boy said is not known to us yet but the boy is believed to be a member of a leftist organisation.The boy delivered a speech on wednesday in the Central Antolian city of Konya,a bastion of Erdogan's Islamic rooted Justice and Development Party {AKP},in memory of a young secular teacher killed by Islamists in 1930.The boy is now facing up to four years imprisonment if convicted on the charge.Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davtoglu supported the courts decision on the Juvenile's arrest saying ''Everyone must respect the office of the president,who ever he is''.Though the boy denied any links to any political party and he also said thhat the governor's office granted him permission for the commemoration ceremony orgsnised through social media.''I've made the statement i...

3 DEAD AS 8 ISLAMIC GUNMEN,ATTACKED AFRICAN UNION BASE IN SOMALIA ON CHRISTMAS DAY.

                According to a spokesperson of the African Union said eight Islamist gunmen infiltrated the main African Union base on thursday christmas day in Mogadishu,and killed three peacekeepers and a civilian contractor.Somali militant group alshabaab claimed responsibility for the attack,which lasted several hours,and said it had killed 14 peacekeepers witnesses reported hearing bomb blasts and volleys of gunfire through the day.Sheikh Abdiasis Abu Musam,alshabaab's military operations spokeman said ''We targeted the enemies at a time they were celebrating christmas''.A.U peacekeeping mission in Somalia said in a statement that ''Terrorists,some of whom were disguised in Somali National Army Uniforms,breached the base camp around lunch hour and attempted tp gain access to critical infrastructure,during which five of them were killed and three others captured''.
