Nigerian man, Chimaobim arrested after caught with pants off, exposing self in public in U.S U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested a Nigerian national, Chimaobim Adedayo Igbojekwe in Pennsylvania after he pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge following a public exposure incident. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said ICE took Igbojekwe into custody on October 1, following his arrest by local police on September 27. According to DHS, Igbojekwe pleaded guilty to the disorderly conduct charge. Following his conviction, ICE arrested him on October 1. Local reports cited by DHS said Igbojekwe was working as a canvasser for Janelle Stelson, the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, when the incident occurred.  US begins Guantanamo Bay evacuation as Hurricane Melissa batters Caribbean  The U.S. military has evacuated roughly 1,000 nonessential personnel from the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base ahead of Hurricane Melissa, which is battering the Caribbean. Families and pets of nonessential staff were flown to Naval Air Station Pensacola in preparation for the storm, allowing the base to reduce operations and streamline recovery once the hurricane passes. Pensacola’s Fleet and Family Support Center opened an Emergency Family Assistance Center to provide lodging, essential supplies, and other support for evacuees. Capt. Chandra Newman, commanding officer at NAS Pensacola, said personnel were focused on “taking care of our Navy family from Guantanamo Bay.” The remaining 3,000 residents at the base moved into temporary shelters at a gym and a new K–12 school, bringing bedding and supplies to last three days.  I’m Not Using Flavour’s(Ijele) Name to Scam People, I Just Love Him” — (flavour n'ututua) A man popularly known as “Flavour n'ututua” has clarified that he is not impersonating the Nigerian highlife superstar, Flavour N’abania, to defraud people. According to him, his admiration for the singer inspired his stage persona. In his words, “I’m not using Flavour’s name to scam people, I just love him. Flavour is someone I look up to.” He further explained that he legitimately earns from his performances, adding that he gets paid between ₦700,000 and ₦800,000 per show — a fee far below what the real Flavour would charge. “When I go for shows, I get paid ₦700k–₦800k, and Flavour can never perform for that amount,” he stated. The entertainer maintained that his intention is not to impersonate or mislead fans, but to celebrate and emulate his idol in his own unique way.

This came in handy as the nov 8 Governorship election draws near, According to him, the Igbo people are traditionally known for their independent mindset and strong political will, not for selling their votes; especially for as little as ₦1,000. He described the development as a “terrible omen” that must be urgently addressed to safeguard the integrity and dignity of the Igbo people.  ANAMBRA JOINT SECURITY TEAM RECOVERS A SNATCHED TOYOTA HIGHLANDER OF A KIDNAP/ARMED ROBBERY VICTIM AND APPREHENDS A FEMALE ACCOMPLICE IN OGIDI The Anambra State Police Command operatives attached to the 3 3 Police Station, in collaboration with Agunechemba Security, Nkwelle-Ezunaka Unit, in the early hours of 27th October 2025, arrested one Okonkwo Onyinye, aged 23 years, a female accomplice in a reported case of armed robbery and kidnap incident. The team also recovered a snatched Toyota Highlander SUV of the victim in Ogidi. Preliminary information revealed that the victim was double-crossed by five armed men operating in a Toyota Corolla car at Nkwelle GRA Gate.   The University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, has prohibited the unauthorized use of its campus, including hostels and other facilities, for video production by skitmakers, filmmakers, and content creators. In a statement released on Thursday, October 28 and signed by its Head of Communication, Adejoke Alaga-Ibraheem, the university expressed concern over the growing trend of individuals filming skits, movies, and other contents on campus without approval.
