 China's Hengli seeks West African, Middle Eastern oil after sanctions, sources say China's Hengli ​Petrochemical, sanctioned by the U.S. for allegedly purchasing Iranian oil, has bought at least 2 million barrels of ‌West African crude and is seeking further mainstream supply, several trade sources said, as the refiner looks to get off the U.S. blacklist. Hengli, which was penalised by Washington in April and has denied buying Iranian oil, is looking to source entirely non-sanctioned oil, six of the people said, Reuters reported. Privately owned Hengli, which ​operates a 400,000 barrels-per-day refinery in the northeastern city of Dalian, has recently inquired about buying cargoes of West African ​and non-Iranian Middle Eastern crude for delivery from June onward, multiple sources said. It bought at least 2 ⁠million barrels of West African crude for China delivery around late June or July, three of the sources said.

 TW- Emotional animal story.  An Indiana man was caught st@bbing a lost dog multiple times. Police showed up after multiple and outraged neighbors swarmed his home. A 2-year-old Husky named 'Shadow' was ultimately euthanized after suffering multiple puncture wounds while tied up and completely unable to escape.  Shadow's attacker, 38-year-old Tony Hughes, did not know the dog or the dog's owner. Despite multiple changing stories, there seems to be no reason for this cruel and horrendous crime. Police were first made aware of the situation on Saturday, June 6th, in the town of Portage, Indiana. Officers were dispatched to a home on the 600 block of Camelot Manor at approximately 12:30 a.m. after a crowd of angry neighbors had gathered outside of Hughes's home.
