 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. 3-person robbery accused            Lanre Otunola has been arrested for joining two other suspected robbers who specialized in snatching vehicles at gun point.The suspect who was paraded alongside his gang at the Lagos state police command Ikeja on tuesday confessed that he joined the gang to raise money for the christmas celebration.Others paraded along with him were,Jamiu Agboola,20 years and Toibu Oyeyinka,24 years old.The police claimed the trio snatched two sport utility vehicle at gun point,barely 23 hours after their operation following a tip off from members of the public to the police and the police subsequently laid ambush for them at the spot where they were parked the vehicles at market street,oyingbonarea of lagos looking for buyers.What was recovered from them are,one Honda Acura MDX JEEP,one Toyota High Lander JEEP,two locally made pistols and four live cartridges.The two cars were stolen from Opera street,Coker Aguda Surulere lagos on 14th December,2013.
