I.R.S, YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS-MC HAMMER.

Getty               51 years old M.C Hammer real name Stanley Kirk Burrel,has filed papers in court of Appeal against a ruling that awards the I.R.S nearly $800,000 in back taxes,saying that he had already resolved the issue.He was sued three years ago by the I.R.S with his wife Stephanie,claiming he was in red to the tune of $798,033.48 for back taxes in the year 1996 and 1997.The judgement was upheld by a judge Dec 3,with a stipulation that all the M.C Hammer future royalties be forwarded to the Government until the debt is settled,that was why M.C Hammer headed to appeal court.There he stated in court documents that the previous ruling should be voided,as he had settled the red ink vis a vis the terms of a bankruptcy agreement.In the court documents,M.C Hammer lawyers asked if officials might have an error in considering details of the previous agreement.
