 UK Govt invests $6m in InfraCredit to boost Nigeria’s Energy transition, infrastructure The United Kingdom has announced an investment of $6 million towards unlocking domestic capital for Nigeria’s infrastructure development and energy transition. The investment was made through its MOBILIST programme to support the listing of InfraCredit on the NASD OTC Exchange Plc. The total listing by InfraCredit, Nigeria’s first and only domestic credit guarantor, is valued at N64 billion ($41 million). The company successfully raised NGN27 billion ($17.7 million) in new equity as part of the transaction. The investment from MOBILIST will further enable InfraCredit to expand its guarantee capacity and support a broader pipeline of infrastructure projects across the country.                                                     Toyin Adeshola is the founder of Sickle Cell Advocacy  Management Initiative,an NGO that was established five years ago and she received an award today 27th September from Ambassador charity awards 2014 at Oriental Hotels Lekki for her Humanitarian works towards sickle cell patients.I will not lie i have never met a person living with sickle cell before and she gave me an insight of the day today life style of a person living with sickle cell.She said she had been to over 100 hospital and the life style of a person living with sickle cell is very painful.She said sickle cell cell is a blood disorder,inherited from the Genotype from both parents especially if there is ''S'' in both parents genotype.She said her NGO helps those children that are living with sickle cell,go through their difficult stages as they progress in life.She said she has been living with sickle cell for over 50 years now and she gave God all the glory saying ''I still thank God for all what i went through,it is my faith in God that made me leave up to 50 years''.She is strongly advicing men and women in a relationship to go check their genotype before they get married and they should not confuse blood group with genotype.She said if you are living with sickle cell,and you need help on how to leave through it,you should contact her on 08098007264 or email her to info@sami-nig.com.One more picture below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
