  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. LAGOS STATE GOVT GAVE N50 MILLION TO FIRST CONSULT HOSPITAL.

                    These money given to the first consultant hospital to me they deserved it because if not for that hospital and the late female doctor,Dr Stella Adedavoh,Ebola virus would have spread beyond control in Nigeria.When they admitted Patrick Sawyer {the Liberian that brought Ebola to Nigeria},they quickly reported the matter to the state government which help curtained the spread of Ebola virus in the country.The hospital also lost four of it staff including its most senior consultant,Dr Stella Adedavoh.At a news conference yesterday monday at the Bagauda Kaltho press centre,Alausa,Ikeja,Lagos,Commissioner for health,Dr Jide Idris said ''We are giving N50 million lump sum as business support gesture to first consultant medical centre.This is with a view to getting people and business back on their feet and for business to re-secure patronage of their customers.It  needs clearly be stated that this is not an attempt at compensation but a gesture of goodwill on the part of government''.More photos below.
