 LAWMA Waste, Investigation, Surveillance and Enforcement operatives on night duty have apprehended two environmental offenders along the Jibowu and Ojota corridors of Ikorodu Road for engaging in illegal waste collection and indiscriminate disposal of refuse at unauthorized locations. The suspects, were arrested during routine surveillance operations after being found carrying out activities that constitute environmental nuisance and undermine approved waste management processes, despite repeated warnings and sensitization efforts. The offenders are being transferred to the Oshodi Task Force Office for prosecution through the Mobile Court in accordance with the environmental protection laws of Lagos State. LAWMA reiterates that illegal waste collection and indiscriminate dumping remain punishable offences. LAGOSIANS,ARE YOU READY FOR NO HORN DAY TOMORROW?

                                                                       Tomorrow is no horn day,and drivers are expected not to horn tomorrow the 15th of October 2014.Will these no horn day work in Lagos?,and how many of you have driven without a horn before?.My problem is that the roads are very bad,and if they are having no Horn day,they should also have a ''Good Road day ''too for government to know that the citizens needs good road,so that they will not be horning anyhow.If they are called Road safety,it should be all about ''Good Roads'' not Horn.They said their objective is to reduce  pollution on our roads,to cultivate respect for other road users,to maintain and encourage road discipline,to improve road use courtesy,to encourage positive road use attitude,to avoid the indiscriminate use of horn,to be a defensive driver,and to develop better road user friendly Lagosians.Users are to avoid the horn,avoid the use of siren,be patient,tolerant,courteous and road user friendly and obey traffic rules and regulations.One more picture below.
