 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. A BAUCHI STATE TV JOURNALIST ALIYU,SLUMPED AND DIED YESTERDAY.

                 37 year old Mallam Ibrahim Aliyu,who is a Government House correspondent of the Bauchi state Television,was writing his report on the Armed Forces Remembrance Day,when he suddenly collapsed.He was rushed to the hospital,where he was confirmed dead.According to Mallam Kabiru Iiela,his cameraman,who witnessed the incident said that the late Aliyu had worked throughout the day and was compiling his report at about 5:30pm yesterday thursday,when he suddenly started jerking.''He had his meal by his side as he was writing the report,when his mood suddenly changed and he started jerking,collapsing in the process.We raised alarm and sought for help to convey him to the hospital.On reaching the Abubaka Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital,a doctor confirmed that he had died''.He left behind two wives,six children,an aged mother and four brothers.He was buried today in accordance with Islamic injunctions in Bauchi.May his soul rest in peace Amen.
