Paramount launches hostile bid for Warner Bros., countering Netflix’s $72 billion offer  Paramount has launched a hostile bid to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, directly challenging Netflix just days after the streaming giant reached a $72 billion agreement to take over the company. In its announcement Monday, Paramount said it is bypassing Warner Bros. leadership and appealing directly to shareholders with a $30-per-share all-cash offer for the entire company, including the Global Networks division. The company urged investors to reject the Netflix deal, which remains subject to approval. Paramount argued that the Netflix proposal would drag shareholders into a lengthy and uncertain regulatory process across multiple countries, while also tying their financial future to what it described as a complicated mix of cash and stock. A FAKE DOCTOR LEE EDWARD,ARRESTED IN NEW YORK AFTER 3 YEARS OF ILLEGAL PRACTICE.

                    According to sources,a 43 year old former flight attendant was arrested on friday in New York on charges he pretended to be a medical doctor and psychologist,allegedly treating more than 100 patients from his basement apartment for the past three years.Donald Lee Edwards of New York,never ever graduated from any medical school or earned a doctoral degree to be licensed for either profession.Bbut he prescribed patients medications and he do take blood and urine samples from patients.Prosecutors said Lee-Edwards had been  seeing patients since 2013,billing himself as having worked extensively with family members and victis of 9/11.Althoughit was unclear if he actually did.His Attorney Matthew Blum said there is no evidence he ever harmed anyone.''He said ''They're alleging he was some sort of doctor who was operating on peoplw.They're turning this guy into a monster.He was really just trying to help some people in his community''.Investigators said Lee-Edwards came to the attention of law enforcement after a patient became suspicious of his unorthodox bedside manner,talking about other patients,bragging he graduated high school at age 13 and saying he attended law school..One more photo below.
