 Zango Kataf, Jaba PDP Committees Hold Reconciliation Meeting Ahead Of 2027 Elections The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Working Committees in Zango Kataf and Jaba Local Government Areas have held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at strengthening party unity and positioning the party for success in the 2027 general elections. The meeting, held on Friday, July 31, 2026, in Jaba Local Government Area, was jointly chaired by the PDP Chairmen of Jaba and Zango Kataf LGAs, Sabastine David Bijiri and Martins Markus Koyah. It brought together party executives, stakeholders, ward officials, elders, youth and women leaders, as well as members from both local government areas. Speaking at the meeting, the Zango Kataf PDP Chairman commended party leaders and members for supporting the zoning of the party’s House of Representatives ticket to Zango Kataf Local Government Area. KOGI GOVERNOR WADA,DECLARED A SEVEN DAY MOURNING FOR LATE AUDU.

                   Today monday Kogi Governor Idris Wada confirmed the death of Alhaji Abubakar Audu.Wada,who made the confirmation in a statewide broadcast to the people today monday said Audu died yesterday sunday at his Ogbonicha village in ofu Local Government Area of Kogi.The governor condoled with the family and people of the state over the demise,describing the late Audu as a man of the people who laid solid foundation for the growth and development of the state.He them declared monday as public holiday to enable the people,especially the civil servants to attend the burial and pay their last respect.Wada also declared a seven day mourning during which the national flag would fly at half mast and office activities scalled down.The burial of Audu had been shifted to from 11:00am to 4:00pm today,this is to allow his friends,relations and fellow politicians who are coming from far and near to witness the burial.
