 Super eagles coach Eric Chelle has signed for a new sports agency to represent him henceforth.  Eric Chelle, head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, has signed with a new sports agency to represent him going forward.  The move is expected to strengthen his professional management and strategic engagements within the global football space.

The Assistant-Inspector General of Police Zone 2 Command, Lagos, AIG Ibrahim Adamu has reviewed the Orderly Room proceedings and approved the punishment of dismissal of AP. No. 136207 Inspector Charles Olusola Omotosho from the Nigeria Police Force with effect from 16.07.2018.Omotosho attached to SARS Ikorodu, Lagos State at the time was found guilty of Corrupt Practices and Discreditable Conduct contrary to Para. C (ii) and E (iii) of 1st Schedule of the Police Act and Regulations CAP. P19 LFN 2004.
Three other officers (names withheld) who accompanied Omotosho during the illegal act (click #PCRRU316356 for case details) were awarded punishment of reduction in rank from Sergeant to Corporal by the AIG.

All NPF items including uniforms and ID card have since been retrieved from the dismissed Inspector.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
