Marilyn Manson's sexual assault case by former assistant reinstated under new California law A previously dismissed sexual assault case against Marilyn Manson, filed by former assistant Ashley Walters, was revived Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court under a new California law extending the statute of limitations for certain sexual abuse claims. Judge Steve Cochran granted Walters’ motion for reconsideration, vacating his December 2025 ruling that had dismissed the case and allowing it to proceed toward trial. The original suit, first filed in 2021, accused Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, of sexual harassment, sexual battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination based on her time working for him in 2010–2011. Previous attempts to move the case forward were blocked because the claims were made years after the alleged incidents, with courts initially ruling that the delayed discovery doctrine did not apply. GOV. ORTOM MEETS WITH STAKEHOLDERS FROM FIVE LGAs TOMORROW.#PRESS RELEASE.

     Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, willl meet with major stakeholders from Katsina-Ala, Ukum , Logo, Kwande and Gboko local government areas at the New Banquet Hall of the Benue Peoples House at 11 am prompt, tomorrow, Thursday , 25th, April, 2019.
The agenda of the meeting will be a discussion of the prevailing security challenges in those areas.
A formal invitation to the meeting is being extended to the concerned stakeholders not specifically mentioned.
These include District Heads, Third, Second and First Class Traditional Rulers, local government chairmen, serving and elected Natonal and State Assembly members, selected religious leaders as well as other prominent sons and daughters from the local government areas.
A similar meeting will be held with stakeholders from Agatu local government area at the same venue to discuss same agenda on Friday, 26th April, 2019 at 10 am.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
