 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. We Will Surely Get The Men - Police Spokesperson, CSP Adejobi Reacts To Trending Video Of Police Officer Assaulting Man In Port Harcourt

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has reacted to the video of a police officer flogging a man in Port Harcourt. 

In the video that has gone viral, an officer could be seen flogging the man with a cane, while his colleague faced the man's female companion .

Adejobi said it is unethical for a police officer to flog someone. He added that irrespective of what the man must have done, he did not deserve to be be^aten ‘’like a baby.''

‘’Quite unfortunate. I have asked the Rivers State Command to fish them out. This is unpolice, unethical, and condemned. Whatever the man must have done, he doesn't deserve this be^ating. Be^ating him like a baby?? A grown-up man?. We will surely get the men.”.

    See how he is flogging a man in front of his woman just because he is a Policeman with a gun. Tomorrow now they will say police is your friend. God will reward him. That is why when police dies, nobody is moved
