 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings.  FG DECLARES MAY 29TH  AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY 


The Federal Government has Declared Monday, May 29th as public holiday for Presidential Inauguration.

The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, made the declaration in Abuja on behalf of the Federal Government, according to a statement by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Shuaib Belgore.

Minister Aregbesola extended his congratulations to all Nigerians on this momentous occasion, commending their unwavering faith in democracy, as demonstrated through the nationwide election that led to the inauguration of the President and his Deputy, as well as in all elections held across the country.

He urged Nigerians to continue their support and promotion of democracy by upholding the rule of law and preserving democratic institutions.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
